{"id":361,"date":"2022-10-20T16:48:24","date_gmt":"2022-10-20T16:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abingtonannexe.org\/?page_id=361"},"modified":"2022-10-20T16:48:24","modified_gmt":"2022-10-20T16:48:24","slug":"haf","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/abingtonannexe.org\/?page_id=361","title":{"rendered":"HAF"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The HAF programme is aimed at providing healthy food and enriching activities for primary and secondary school aged children who are eligible for benefit related free school meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HAF sessions are fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the certain holidays (currently Summer, Christmas and Easter), eligible children will be able to access four, four-hour sessions for four weeks of the holiday, at no cost. The sessions will include a healthy meal and a variety of exciting activities and sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Is my child eligible?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Your child will be able to access a HAF funded place if you are in receipt of any of the following:<br>\u25cf Income Support<br>\u25cf Income Based Job Seekers Allowance<br>\u25cf Income-related Employment and Support Allowance<br>\u25cf Child Tax Credit \u2013 but no element of Working Tax Credit \u2013 and have an annual income (as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC)) that does not exceed \u00a316,190<br>\u25cf If you are supported under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999<br>\u25cf Guarantee element of State Pension Credit<br>\u25cf Working Tax Credit during the four week period immediately after your employment finishes or<br>after you start to work less hours per week<br>\u25cf Universal Credit with an annual net earned income of no more than \u00a37,400 (as from 1 April 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your child normally receives Universal Infant Free School Meals (in Reception, Y1 and Y2) but you do not meet the criteria for \u2018income-related Free School Meals\u2019, your child will not be eligible for a HAF funded place during the holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>If you think that your child is eligible for an income-related Free School Meal under the above criteria, but you have not yet registered, please go to&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20220117103004\/https:\/\/www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk\/freeschoolmeals\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk\/freeschoolmeals<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>How do I book a place?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Before you contact us at Abington Annexe, you must email the HAF Team at<br>haf@cambridgeshire.gov.uk&nbsp;providing your child\u2019s name, date of birth and the school that they attend. The HAF team will then send you your unique booking reference number.<\/li><li>You can then contact us at Abington Annexe \u2013 contact details below. When you book your place, you will be asked to complete a parent\/carer eligibility check declaration form.
